Published semiannually in association with the Queen's University Faculty of Law and Juris Publishing, CJCA explores developments in commercial arbitration affecting Canadian interests, whether within Canada and abroad.

The journal’s scope encompasses all issues related to international commercial arbitration, including investment arbitration, which involve Canadian parties or interests. Its focus is on international arbitration, although not to the exclusion of matters that also relate to domestic arbitration.

Aimed primarily at a practitioner audience, CJCA seeks to bridge the gap between practice and academia. CJCA issues may include articles on cutting-edge topics of theoretical and practical interest, case comments, book reviews, and opinion essays.

CJCA content is also available through Juris Publishing's arbitrationlaw.com database.
